The Interfaith Youth Group Tri-Cities invites people of all ages and faiths to a peace walk Saturday in remembrance of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Faith houses are invited to make banners or flags supporting peace to carry along the route. Walkers also are encouraged to donate to the following charities: charitywater.org, handicap-international.us and redcross.org.
Walkers will travel six miles, from Shalom United Church of Christ to the Islamic Center. Register at www.ifyg.org or from 8 to 9 a.m. at the church, 505 McMurray St. in Richland.
The walk will begin after opening remarks at 9 a.m.
