Attendance at last week's Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo has yet to be officially tallied, but Fair Manager Lori Lancaster estimates about the same number of people attended as last year.
Judging by food and beverage sales, Lancaster predicted this year's event drew close to 117,000 people. She won't know for sure until she gets the number of combination fair/shuttle tickets sold by Ben Franklin Transit.
"Temperatures every day of the fair were warm but it was better than wind. I was so glad the storm hit on Sunday night, not Saturday," she said.
