A 37-year-old man was shot in the leg early Sunday at a Kennewick home.
The shooting was "not a random act of violence," according to Kennewick police, who are releasing few details about the victim or the incident.
The man, whose name and city of residence were not released, is reportedly in stable condition at Kennewick General Hospital.
Officers were dispatched at 4 a.m. to 403 E. Third Ave. for reports of gunshots in the area. The victim was found on the property with at least one gunshot wound to his leg, according to Sgt. Chris Guerrero in a news release.

Detective also responded to the scene and determined that the victim likely knows the suspect or suspects, the release said. The investigation is ongoing.
