Second Harvest Tri-Cities will receive a $6,966 donation, thanks to participation in ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston's Free Fries Fryday and the Free fries Fryday Facebook fan page.
For each free serving on July 29, Lamb Weston agreed to donate 10 cents to Second Harvest Tri-Cities.
For every new fan on the promotion's Facebook page, Lamb Weston promised to donate $1 to the nonprofit food bank.
Each dollar is the equivalent of six pounds of food or four adult meals, said Kathye Kilgore, Second Harvest Tri-Cities director.

With Lamb Weston's donation Second Harvest will be able to provide 41,795 pounds of food, or 167,179 meals, to local families in need.
Second Harvest Tri-Cities is the food bank for 55 Benton and Franklin county food banks.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank in Pasco and the Tri-Cities Food Bank receive support from Second Harvest Tri-Cities.
Forty-three Tri-City restaurants participated in Free Fries Fryday.
