West Richland woman dies after flipping Jeep on Saturday

A 23-year-old West Richland woman died during the weekend when her Jeep flipped on 38th Avenue, officials said.

Carlene Moore was driving early Saturday when she went off the road, rolling the Jeep, said Benton County Coroner John Hansens.

Moore was thrown from the vehicle and died. It does not appear she was wearing a seat belt. Hansens said they are waiting for blood tests to find out if alcohol was a factor.

The crash happened about 2 a.m. near Mount Adams View. Other details weren't available from Benton County sheriff's deputies, who are investigating the wreck.
