Two people were injured in a collision near George in Grant County around 6 p.m. Friday.
Myra Haws, 51, of Kennewick, and Patricia Cox, 58, of Sweet Home, Ore., were taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center after Cox reportedly failed to yield at an intersection, the Washington State Patrol said.
Cox was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry westbound on Road 1 and hit a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Wesley Haws, 49, of Kennewick, northbound on Highway 281.
Wesley Haws was not injured in the accident.
