Pizza party to help fund new Adams pet shelter
Adams County Pet Rescue is holding a pizza party fundraiser from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Othello's Pizza Factory.
Part of what is spent on meals will go to the pet rescue operation to help the volunteers build a shelter for cats and dogs. The previous shelter burned down in 2009, and the rescue has been using a temporary shelter and relying on foster homes.
Donations also can be made to Adams County Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 311, Ritzville, WA 99169.
