The first of three, free summer training workshops, called "Critical Conversations in a Linked Early Intervention System," is being offered by Educational Service District 123 Early Childhood Department will begin Aug.5.
This workshop, open to parents, service providers, family resource coordinators, and medical providers, will look into the education and development of infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities.
This full-day workshop provides a big picture view of early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities: the process, the challenges, and the strategies and skills needed for everyone (parents, service providers, family resource coordinators, and medical providers) to navigate the system as one team dedicated to helping the child develop and learn.
ESD 123 has worked with The Arc of the Tri-Cities to offer the class, and other summer early childhood trainings, free of charge, thanks to American Recovery and Reinvestment Act dollars.
