Restored World War II B-17 and B-25 planes will be on display and in the sky over the Tri-Cities this weekend.
The bombers, which arrived Thursday at the Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco, will perform flybys during the air shows, but Tri-Citians also can take a ride on the fly museums.
The planes will be on display 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Saturday and Sunday at the airport.
The restored bombers are a B-17 Flying Fortress, "Sentimental Journey," and a B-25 Mitchell, "Maid in the Shade." The bombers also will perform flybys at the Water Follies Air Show this weekend.
Tours of the B-17 cost $5 for adults and $3 for kids 5-12, and it's $425 a person to take a flight on the bomber. To sign up for a spot, call 602-448-9415 or go to the airport.
Flights also can be taken on the B-25 for $395 a person. Call 480-322-5503 or visit the bomber to make a reservation.
