Pasco man unhurt in crash on Highway 970

A Pasco man avoided injuries Tuesday when his motorhome collided with another car on Highway 970 near Cle Elum, the Washington State Patrol said.

Roger D. Wolf, 59, was about eight miles east of Cle Elum driving south on Teanaway Road, when he attempted to turn onto Highway 970, troopers said.

He failed to yield to a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am that was going westbound, troopers said.

Gary Wayne Trimble, 43, of Tacoma, was treated at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital for neck, back and shoulder injuries.

Wolf was not hurt in the 10:24 a.m. crash and was able to drive his motorhome after the crash.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
