About 100 persons from Pasco loaded themselves into autos for an excursion to the land of tomorrow, taking their lunches, and spending the whole day near the now famous "burner" that is said to produce 310,000 feet of natural gas per day at Rattlesnake Ridge. Several prominent Spokane and Seattle men went out to witness the demonstration.
