Longtime Hanford High teacher dies of cancer

Jane Wiles, a longtime teacher at Hanford High School in Richland, died Monday after battling cancer for several years. She was 60.

Wiles taught in the Special Education Resource Room at Hanford High for 18 years.

She eventually was named department head for special education at the school. She also coached the Knowledge Bowl team and was the advisor for the Junior Statesman activity.
