USA Today reports on animals on nuclear sites

Hanford had a radioactive rabbit last year, but at the Savannah River, S.C., nuclear site workers have to check alligators for contamination, according to USA Today.

The newspaper takes a look at efforts to track and check animals not just at Hanford, but also across the Department of Energy nuclear weapons environmental cleanup complex.
