A low-pressure system is expected to bring showers and possibly light snow to the Tri-Cities this weekend.
The National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of scattered rain today and the end to stagnant air.
The chance of precipitation increases to 50 percent Sunday. Before 10 a.m. precipitation is expected to fall as rain, possibly turning to snow later.
