Echo man dies Sunday after off-road vehicle accident

A 42-year-old Echo man died over the week after crashing his off-road vehicle, officials said.

James David Ramos was four-wheeling in Echo when he reportedly ran off a 6-foot concrete embankment, said Michelle Genack, Benton County deputy coroner.

It was not known if he was wearing a helmet.

The wreck was reported at 10 p.m. Saturday and Ramos was flown to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He died from multiple injuries early Sunday, Genack said.
