A flood warning remains in effect for the Yakima River near Benton City through tonight.
Minor flooding is anticipated in parts of Benton City and West Richland by late tonight or early Wednesday, according to Benton County Emergency Management officials.
Flood stage in Benton City is 13 feet. As of 1 p.m. Monday, the river was at 8.4 feet, and officials say the river is expected to crest between 13.5 feet and 14 feet by Wednesday afternoon.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage by late Wednesday, she said.

Minor flooding could occur at the Beach RV Park in Benton City, the West Richland Golf Course and along some roads north of Van Giesen in West Richland.
