Volunteers are being sought to help vulnerable children by becoming a CASA (court-appointed special advocate) for abused and neglected children.
Volunteers will be charged with investigating a child's history, advocating for services and appropriate placement and ultimately making recommendations to a judge in the child's best interest.
The next three-day CASA training will be from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. March 18, 25 and 26. For information, contact Tikva Glantz, Benton-Franklin Counties CASA/GAL Program, at 783-2151, ext. 2456, or e-mail her at email@example.com.
