It's windy outside -- and it's going to stay that way through tonight, forecasters say.
A high wind warning was issued for the Tri-Cities through 7 p.m. Sustained winds up to 45 mph with gusts near 70 mph were forecasted overnight and expected to continue today.
Some of the strongest winds will be along Horse Heaven Hills and near Hanford, the National Weather Service said.
Windy conditions could make driving difficult, and drivers on Interstate 82 near Horse Heaven Hills and Highway 240 through Hanford should be prepared for strong cross winds, forecasts said.
