The Pasco School Board is looking for Pasco residents interested in serving on the board.
Board member Pete Felsted announced his resignation Tuesday, effective Jan. 25.
Applications are available at the C.L. Booth Building, 1215 W. Lewis St., Pasco, or on the district website at www.psd1.org.
Candidates must be residents in the Pasco district, a U.S. citizen and registered voter. Applications are due at the Booth Building by 5 p.m. Jan. 26.

An orientation session for all candidates will be at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Booth Building. Information about the responsibilities of a school board member also is available through the Washington State School Directors Association at www.wssda.org.
Current board members will review the applications and nominate finalists for interviews Feb. 1. Board members will vote on the new member later that evening. The new member will be sworn in Feb. 8.
