The Department of Energy plans to show a free short film it produced about Hanford on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Richland.
When Cameron Salony graduated from Utah State University and took a job as a DOE public information specialist at Hanford, he created a film as he learned about the history and also efforts to clean up the nuclear reservation. He interviewed DOE officials, regulators, tribal members and current and former workers.
The 28-minute film will be shown at noon and 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Federal Building auditorium, 825 Jadwin Ave. Photo identification is required to enter the Federal Building.
The film also will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Battelle Auditorium, 902 Battelle Blvd.
