Help a Richland couple bless their new home, keep a child warm or donate to the food banks Sunday as Lou and Donna Koussa celebrate the season.
The couple are holding an open house from 12:45 to 3:05 p.m. with soup and hot cider and hot chocolate at their soon to be new home, 1245 Plateau Drive in Richland. The house is at the base of Badger Mountain, just down from the Badger Mountain trailhead parking lot.
The couple are asking all who come to write a Bible verse, proverb, quote or just a greeting on the exposed studs of the home. Or they will provide cards for people to write on and tack them to the studs.
Bring canned and other nonperishable foods or make a cash donation to Second Harvest Tri-Cities and the Tri-City Chaplaincy. Also being collected are coats, mittens, hats and scarves.
