RICHLAND -- Three teens were arrested Sunday by Richland police on suspicion of stealing items from unlocked cars.
Steven Jancar and Jordan Hadley, both 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old, all from Kennewick, were arrested on suspicion of vehicle prowl and possession of stolen property, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
A security officer saw three teens prowling vehicles in the 200 block of Gage Boulevard at 2:30 a.m. and called 911, according to police reports. When police tried to talk to the teens, they ran, according to police reports.
Police were able to catch two of them and later found the third sleeping in a car. Stolen items were found in the car, according to police.

The three teens are being investigated in connection with other vehicle prowls in Richland, Kennewick and Benton County, according to police.
All of the items taken were from unlocked vehicles.
Because of the value of the stolen property, the Benton County Prosecutor's Office will review the case for possible felony charges, according to police.
