Companies offer to help collect Angel Tree toys

Action Towing of Pasco and Riverstone Residential, a property management company, are pitching in to help collect toys and gifts for the local Salvation Army's Angel Tree program.

Action Towing, 1948 N. 4th Ave. in Pasco, and 14 Tri-City apartment complexes will have boxes with the Salvation Army logo to collect toys starting today.

The Salvation Army plans to help more than 2,500 children ages 12 and under. The Angel Tree program provides a new toy for each child.

The trees are up at 18 places in the Tri-Cities, with the main location at Columbia Center mall in Kennewick.

The companies encourage the public to donate using the boxes, Levin said. The toys will be distributed by the Salvation Army the week of Dec. 21. Box locations include:

-- Pasco: Broadmoor Apartments, 10304 Chapel Hill Blvd.

-- Kennewick: Grandridge Place, 725 North Center Parkway, Heatherstone, 1114 W. 10th Ave., Highlander, 3030 W. Fourth Ave., Meadow Park, 1001 W. Fourth Ave.

-- Richland: Creekside, 1650 Mowry Square, Jadwin; Stevens Apartments, 1851 Jadwin Ave., Orchard Hills Apts., 1845 Leslie Rd., River Park Apartments, 1878 Fowler St., Tapteal Apts., 1775 Columbia Park Trail, Twin Dolphins, 160 Van Giesen Blvd., Villas at Meadows Springs, 250 Gage Blvd., Washington Square I, 2455 George Washington Way, and Washington Square II, 2433 George Washington Way.
