Yet another winter storm is expected to drop snow on the Tri-Cities today, according to the National Weather Service.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. today with a 70 percent chance of snow predicted. However, accumulations should be light in the Tri-Cities and heavier to the south and east of the Tri-Cities. Temperatures are expected to remain near freezing or below today.
Roads also could be slick again this morning after a 30 percent chance of freezing rain was forecast for Wednesday night.
The storm should pass by Friday, leaving dry, but possibly foggy, weather through the weekend. Because temperatures are expected to remain below freezing through the weekend, the fog could cause icy roads in some places in the Mid-Columbia.
