A "Christmas on the Pipe Organ" concert is planned at 7 p.m. today at the Richland LDS church, 1720 Thayer Drive.
The concert is sponsored by The American Guild of Organists, Columbia Basin chapter, and the Richland Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and admission is free.
The evening of holiday music also celebrates the contributions of Helen Madsen of Richland, who in 1959 acquired a pipe organ for the church.
The concert features several local organists from various congregations, including Lutheran, Catholic, Presbyterian and Latter-day Saints.
