The coldest air of the season -- and possibly some snow flurries -- could arrive in the Tri-Cities this weekend.
The National Weather Service is predicting a slight chance of snow in the Tri-Cities on Friday night. That increases to a likely chance of snow Sunday night, at least in the hills around the Tri-Cities as the low temperature drops to about 22 degrees.
The freezing air expected to move into the Mid-Columbia this weekend could bring temperatures in the Tri-Cities down to the 20s by Tuesday.
