The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the Tri-Cities and much of the Mid-Columbia until 10 a.m. today.
A low pressure system moving into the Northwest on Monday night was expected to bring gusts of up to 55 mph to the Tri-Cities overnight.
Today the wind speed was expected to decrease some to 30 to 33 mph this morning, falling to 21 to 24 mph later in the day. Gusts still could be as high as 48 mph.
