Auditors list sites for dropping off ballots

Still need to get your ballot in to the county auditor's office to be counted in today's general election?

Benton and Franklin counties have ballot drop boxes, where voters can submit |ballots without paying postage. Ballots can be dropped off until 8 p.m. in both counties.

In Benton County, the boxes are at the Benton County Courthouse, 620 Market St., Prosser; the Kennewick Auditor's Office annex, 5600 W. Canal Drive; the Richland Auditor's Office annex, 101 Wellsian Way, Suite E; Benton City Hall, 708 Ninth St.; and at the Benton County Justice Center, 7122 W. Okanogan Place, Kennewick.

Franklin County has drop boxes in Pasco at TRAC, 6600 Burden Blvd., at the Franklin County Courthouse parking lot at 1016 N. Fourth Ave., in Pasco, in the Franklin County Auditor's Office inside the courthouse and at the elections center, 116 N. Third Ave.

Mailed ballots must be postmarked by midnight and have a first-class stamp on them.
