People who are blind or have other physical disabilities can cast their ballots at accessible voting units that have been set up at various locations in the Tri-Cities.
In Benton County they are at auditor's offices in Kennewick at 5600 W. Canal Drive, the satellite office at 101 Wellsian Way, suite E, in Richland, and at the courthouse in Prosser, 620 Market St.
Franklin County also has special voting units for people who are blind or otherwise disabled. They are set up inside the courthouse at 1016 N. Fourth Ave., in Pasco.
The special units were set up with help from the United Blind of the Tri-Cities Inc., and the Washington Council of the Blind.
