A Umatilla woman hurt Tuesday after a FedEx truck ran a red light and crashed into her minivan has been transferred to a Seattle hospital.
Karen Arbogast, 51, is at Harborview Medical Center and remains in critical condition, Washington State Patrol officials said Wednesday.
She was crossing Highway 395 on Hildebrand Road when the FedEx truck going north on the highway ran the red light and hit a Toyota Camry before crashing into Arbogast's van, troopers said.
State Patrol Lt. Roger Wilbur said investigators still are trying to determine why the FedEx truck ran the light.
Arbogast was taken to Kennewick General Hospital before being transferred to Harborview.
The driver of the FedEx truck, Timothy Rieksts, 48, of Pasco, and the Toyota driver, Alex Teimoouri, 53, of Kennewick, were treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
