A rally and march against domestic and sexual violence is being held tonight at John Dam Plaza in Richland.
The Tri-Cities Walking Fearless rally, from 5 to 8 p.m., is organized by the Women Success Program at Washington State University Tri-Cities.
Tri-Citians are encouraged to bring their own rally signs and take action against the violence. The first 400 attendees will get a free T-shirt.
There will be a speaker, a rally and march around John Dam Plaza, and "Shatter the Silence," a time where victims and survivors can speak out.
A moment of silence and candlelight vigil also are planned for the 31 women, men and children killed by domestic violence in the Tri-Cities since 1998.
Information about domestic violence resources, including shelters, also will be available.
