A sex offender considered highly likely to reoffend is living in Kennewick.

Thomas Christopher Dean, 22, has told police he is living in the 5200 block of West Hood Avenue.

Dean is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was convicted in Benton County in 2003 with attempted indecent liberties and fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.

Dean is classified as a Level 3 sex offender. He's not wanted by police, but he is required to tell them where he is living.

Police say he has a history of failing to register as a sex offender.
