Oregon State Police say a 67-year-old Dayton man died Sunday after suffering a medical emergency on the highway near Pendleton.
Floyd David Farley was driving a 1989 Ford LTD on Highway 11 about 11 miles north of Pendleton when a medical issue caused him to drive off the highway, troopers said.
His car went through a field and stopped near some corrals, troopers said. The car had minor damage. Farley was declared dead at the scene.
The 3:20 p.m. crash remains under investigation.
