SUNNYSIDE -- A shooting incident just after midnight Sunday in Sunnyside led to the arrest of Sergio Navarro Jr., 25, for not reporting a felony, possession of marijuana and fireworks.
The Sunnyside man was jailed after police answered a call about multiple shots fired in the 1600 block of Saul Road.
Officers questioned people at a residence near the reported shooting, and found shell casings from a semiautomatic handgun on the front porch.
Additional evidence of the shooting was found during a search of the property and police found a car that had been involved in a hit and run accident Saturday.

The officers also found a 1995 green Honda Accord, with the engine running, which they believed to have been involved in the shooting. The car previously had been reported stolen to the Yakima County Sheriff's Office.
Police believe the case is gang related.
