A young pig belonging to S.R. Supplee on the Wadsworth place north of Benton City fell into the Columbia River near the Allen tract. Mr. Supplee couldn't rescue the porker and presumed it had perished. The pig was found downstream at the E. M Wilson ranch. A pretty good swimming record for one small pig adrift in the mighty Columbia.
