WALLA WALLA -- A 10-day boil-water advisory for customers in a Walla Walla County irrigation district is over.

The water system through Green Tank Irrigation District 11 has been disinfected and flushed after bacterial contamination was found in water samples, according to a news release from the state Department of Health.

"Residents can now safely use their tap water without first boiling it," the release said.
