The Pasco Planning Commission will hold a community meeting at 6 p.m. today to discuss plans for the marine terminal and boat basin area.
The city and Port of Pasco have been working with a consultant for plans for 100 acres northeast of the cable bridge, including the marine terminal and boat basin.
The proposed plans include a new marina park, an enhanced boat launch and parking and access. The current residential zone would remain residential, and the area east of the train tracks would include commercial, mixed use, light industrial and retail development, with open space.
The commission will meet in the Pasco City Council chambers at city hall, 525 N. Third Ave., Pasco.
