Police reported that an enthusiastic pre-game pep rally near the police station resulted in injuries to Darlene George, 1101 W. 2nd St. Darlene occupied the end of a "whip" was shaken loose as shouting students moved along and toppled to the cement. She was taken to the hospital and later released.
