Cornelius Vanderbilt Jr., scion of the well-known and wealthy Vanderbilt family, who is pursuing a journalistic career, was a brief caller at the Herald office Tuesday afternoon. He made inquiries as to the political outlook in this county on the national ticket but made no comments. The editors were both out when he called but R.H. Henderson, foreman, gave him the requested forecast.
