A N.P. engineer told a remarkable story of a golf ball flying into the cab of his engine while running between Mesa and Eltopia. When he got to town he produced the golf ball marked with the initials M.L.D. The golf bugs have figured out the ball belonged to M.L. Driscoll and was hit by him with a drive of a little more than ten miles as the crow and golf balls fly.
