Pickup crash in Benton County kills driver. He was not wearing a seat belt

A 26-year-old man died after crashing his pickup near Prosser, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Francisco G. Martinez, 26, of Mabton, was two miles west of Prosser driving west on Highway 22 at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

He lost control of his pickup and and it rolled, according to the WSP.

Martinez, who was not wearing a seat belt, died before he could be taken to a hospital.
