A Canadian driver was injured in a rear-end collision near Mesa on Friday morning.
Bonnie L. Ladd, 51, of Vernon, B.C., was injured when her red 2004 Ford Freestar was struck from behind by a white 2000 Dodge Durango SUV on Highway 17 near Mesa, according to the Washington State Patrol. Ladd was slowing for traffic when her car was rear-ended.
Marcia E. Cordell, 66, of Moses Lake, was driving the Dodge.
Ladd was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco for treatment of her injuries.
The state patrol reports the cause of the collision is under investigation.
