The 23rd annual Lourdes Classic golf tournament in July at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick raised more than $63,000 for the third phase of Lourdes’ emergency department renovation.
Meier Architecture and Engineering in Kennewick sponsored the event, which was put on by the Lourdes Foundation. More than 150 golfers and volunteers participated, a news release said.
The phase will involve remodeling clinical space and creating quieter and more comfortable patient care areas, the news release said.
“We recognize that outcomes improve when patients are comfortable and able to rest. We look forward to improving this service line for the benefit of our patients,” said Connie Gillispie, Lourdes chief development officer, in the release.
