Dade Moeller Health Group, a subsidiary of radiation protection company Dade Moeller of Richland, has formed a partnership with medical physics firm Physics Services Integrated of Buffalo, N.Y.
Physics Services Integrated will operate under a formal management agreement with Dade Moeller Health Group, while continuing to provide cancer radiation therapy to existing clients in New York and Pennsylvania. It also provides consultations for radiation shielding and equipment purchases and weekly quality assurance for linear accelerators and other equipment and computers.
The partnership will enable expansion of services to additional markets and regions of the country, according to Dade Moeller.
"Medical physics, and health care in general, is an important market for Dade Moeller because it offers diverse opportunities for us to deliver our high quality core services to new commercial and governmental clients," William Kennedy Jr., Dade Moeller's health group director, said in a statement.
