The basics of becoming a government contractor will be presented by the Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center and Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce at "Introduction to Government Contracting 101," from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.
Ashley Bennington-Coronado, Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center business counselor, will give an overview of how to do business with government agencies, which purchase millions of dollars worth of products and services from small businesses each year.
The session will cover key topics such as registrations and certifications, locating government solicitations, government marketing and more.
