KENNEWICK -- J-U-B Engineers, Inc., with an office in Kennewick, has been recognized as one of the "2011 Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For" in a nationwide employee-based survey.
J-U-B was rated second in the large engineering firm category (those with 300 or more employees) and 12th overall for firms of any size.
The survey, conducted by CE News, asks employees to rate workplace practices, satisfaction and other elements related to the firm's culture. Categories included client focus, family atmosphere, collaborative approach, focus on integrity and fun.
"We work together, we play together and we succeed together," said J-U-B President Lee E. Cammack. "Our employees take pride and care in their work -- that results in great teamwork and that has sustained us, even in a challenging economic climate."
Incorporated in Nampa, Idaho, in 1954, the company has more than 325 employees in 14 offices in five states: Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Utah.
