Frank Armijo, president and general manager of Hanford's Mission Support Alliance, has received the Hispanic Engineer National Achievements Award for Executive Excellence.
He also is a vice president at Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Solutions -- Civil. He was nominated for executive excellence for organizations with less than $20 billion in revenues.
The award highlights Hispanic successes by recognizing professionals in science, technology, engineering and math professions who have achieved academic and professional success in their fields. It is intended to motivate more Hispanics to pursue educations and careers in those fields.
It was presented by the nonprofit Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corp.
