Dade Moeller's services continue to be in demand because of the nuclear reactor problems in Japan, the radiation-protection company said.
The Richland company said it has responded to requests from businesses in the technology, aviation, manufacturing, investment, insurance, medical, automotive and food industries. It also has received requests from U.S. federal agencies.
Companies are concerned about employee exposure to radioactive contamination or contamination of their products, manufacturing equipment, buildings and parts or ingredients. Dade Moeller has responded, in some cases providing information for free.
Its services include risk awareness and training, environmental remediation, and on-site radiological and safety support.
