Lowe's raises $35,717 for muscular dystrophy

Lowe's stores in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho raised $35,717 for muscular dystrophy research, company officials said.

The money was raised through the company's Shamrocks Against Dystrophy program that allowed customers to buy shamrocks with the proceeds going to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Donations support research and MDA clinics, including ones in Spokane and the Tri-Cities.
