WALLA WALLA -- Washington State University Extension is presenting a hay seminar from 7 to 10 p.m. April 29 in Walla Walla.
Topics to be presented include "Hay Situation," Shannon Neibergs, WSU Extension Livestock Economist; "Determining Your 'True' Hay Price," Drex Gauntt, Walla Walla County hay producer; "Grassy Weed Control in Alfalfa," Phil Petersen, WSU Extension, Grant County; "Weed Control in Grass Hay," Jim Zehand, Dow AgroSciences; and "Insect Damage & Control Methods Thresholds in Alfalfa," Tim Woodward, Columbia Basin College.
The meeting is in the basement meeting room at 328 W. Poplar St.
